Nepal in Group D in ICC U19 Cricket World Cup

Nepali Cricket teamKathmandu / November 26: Nepal is placed in Group-D in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup to be held in Bangladesh from 22 January to 14 February 2016.

Likewise, India, Australia and New Zealand which are strong teams are also in the group, according to the tie-sheet publicized by the host International Cricket Council (ICC) today.

Nepal, which made it to the tournament after defeating Ireland in ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in Malaysia last month, will start its first match against New Zealand on January 28.

Likewise, it will next face Australia and India on January 30 and February 1 respectively.

South Africa, Bangladesh, Namibia and Scotland are in Group A, while Afghanistan, Pakistan, Canada and Sri Lanka are in Group B.

Similarly, England, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Fiji are in Group C. Winners and first runner-ups of each group will make it to the quarter final. RSS
