Nima bags first gold medal for Nepal; Nepal gets 12 medals

SAG LogoGuwahati (India) / February 8: Nepal has opened account for gold medal in the ongoing 12th South Asian Games in India’s Shillong, as Nima Ghartimagar bagged gold medal in Wushu.

She scored the total 16.91 points in the competition.

Likewise, Yubraj Thapa in Wushu nanquan bagged silver medal in the match. He got the total 18.13 points in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Nepal took another bronze medal in the ongoing 12th South Asian Games (SAG) on Monday.

Nepal’s Gaurika Singh completed the 100-meter backstroke with a timing of 1:7.31 to win the bronze medal. She had won Nepal a bronze in the 200 meter backstroke on Sunday.

Nepal has now won one gold, four silver and seven bronze medals summing up to be 12 medals overall. RSS
