Manish requests not to say Pardeshi; reflects voice of millions of people living abroad

Pardeshi NabhanaKathmandu / February 18: Although remittance sent by Nepalese working abroad is giving life to the ailing economy of the country, the life of Nepalese living abroad is filled with pain. Going abroad is choice for few but compulsion for many whether they are going in search of employment opportunities or further studies.

Amid this reality, a youth, who is departing abroad for further studies has come up with a song Pardeshi Nabhana (Don’t say me stranger). Manish Dhakal, who is heading to Australia for his further studies after completing +2 in Nepal has come up with a popular song, which reflects the compulsion of over six million Nepalese living abroad in search of better opportunities and also for job as employment opportunities are limited in the country.

The song presents the compulsion of many Nepalese youths, who have to go abroad for fulfilling daily needs of the family as the political stalemate of the country has been pushing the national economy towards collusion course. The song narrates a pain of a person heading abroad for fulfilling the family needs after he did not get job in the country.

Dhakal has shown good prospect in Nepali music industry as he has good voice and the song is composed well. The Music video featured popular cine artist Nishal Basnet and singer Dhakal among others. The music video captures the real story of Nepali setting, where many people opt for foreign job with the hope of better future but many of them face various challenges.
