PM Oli briefs President Bhandari on India visit; President certifies two bills

President AuthenticationKathmandu / February 25: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday evening briefed President Bidya Devi Bhandari about his maiden state visit to India.

PM Oli, upon the completion of his six-day India visit, returned home on Wednesday night. The meeting that took place at Rastrapati Bhawan (Presidential Palace) Sheetal Niwas touched on various aspects of PM Oli’s India visit and its achievements, states a press release issued by Khadananda Dhakal, Spokesperson of the Office of President.

Meanwhile, President Bidya Devi Bhandari Thursday certified two bills that were earlier endorsed by the Legislature-Parliament.

The President certified the Bill on Human Organ Transplantation (Regulation and Prohibition (first amendment- 2072 BS) and the Bill designed to carry out amendments to some Nepal’s acts-2072 BS, according to the Office of the President. RSS
