Medical appliances worth 4 million provided to 12 health centres

Galkot Society JapanBaglung / May 19: The Galkot Society, Japan has provided medical appliances worth over four million rupees to different 12 health centres in the district.

Director at the West Regional Health Directorate, Dr Taranath Poudel and Galkot Society Japan chair Harka Thapa jointly handed the appliances to the responsible persons of these health centres.

The society provided appliances worth over 2.9 million rupees to Galkot Primary Health Centre alone while medial appliances worth 100,000 rupees were provided to each health centre.

The health centres receiving the appliances are Hatiya, Malma, Pandavkhani, Knadebas, Righa, Dudilabhati, Narethati, Hil, Tara, Argal and Amar Bhumi.

The appliances provided to the health centres include X-ray machines, ECG machines, delivery beds among others.

The society had collected the fund for the purpose organizing different cultural programmes in Japan. RSS
