International Conference of Mathematics kicks-off

13275773_1018901291491201_1552333777_nKathmandu / May 26: The International Conference of Mathematics to Non-linear Sciences (AMNS-2016) has kicked off in the Capital today.

The conference is jointly organized by Nepal Mathematical Society (NMS), the Association of Nepalese Mathematicians in America (ANMA), the Central Department of Mathematics (CDM) at Tribhuvan University and Mathematics Division at Kathmandu University (KU). A total of 139 working papers are being presented in the conference by mathematicians and scientists of 17 different countries, including Nepal.

President of NMS Prof. Dr. Tanka Nath Dhamala expressed his pleasure to organize such a mega event in Nepal by bringing together the mathematicians and scientists around the globe. He emphasized on the possible collaboration of Nepalese mathematicians with the foreign experts and the continuation of such conferences in Nepal in the days to come.
