Find practical and useful path for solution: Regmi

Khil Raj RegmiNuwakot / July 5: Former Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Khilraj Regmi, today called for resolving the current problems with the implementation the new constitution while taking steps forward.

Regmi, who arrived in the district to pay homage to at multiple shrines, stressed on need to create an environment acceptable to all to implement the new constitution. “An environment acceptable for all should be created to implement the constitution, we should manage politics and not get ensnared so as to leap forward on path of prosperity and development,” he said.

The country would move forward if all processes could complete by Magh 7, 2074 BS, Former Chief Justice Regmi said, adding the government must focus on reconstructing the heritages damaged by the earthquake, and by adopting a path of development and prosperity.

He said the government should work seriously to resolve the Tarai problems while claiming that government’s due seriousness in tackling Tarai problem as the cause for failure to find an outlet for the country. “The state must go for dialogue and negotiations. They (Madhes-centric leaders) should also adopt practical and useful path. If all are to unite to find an outlet, there is no question of finding a solution,” Regmi argued.

Speaking to the media, Dharma Raj Baral, a religious campaigner, made an insistence on quickly reconstructing the heritages damaged during the quake to promote tourism.

Regmi paid homage to the Bhairavi temple and Jalapadevi temple at Devighat and held ritualistic performances. RSS
