PM inducts three cabinet members; expresses commitment to perform well
Kathmandu / Aug 8: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has appointed three new ministers in his council of ministers on the sixth day of his election as the head of government.
The new ministers are Deepak Bohara and Bikram Pandey of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Jaydev Joshi of CPN (Samyukta).
“They have not been assigned any portfolio and they will work as ministers without portfolio for now,” prime minister’s personal secretary Ramesh Malla informed . The new ministers were sworn in on Monday.
Earlier, Dahal had appointed two deputy prime ministers and three other ministers from his own party and other major ruling partner Nepali Congress.
With the RPP’s decision to join the government, the plan to unify the RPP and RPP-Nepal has been cancelled.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed the commitment to perform the best that could be remembered for long.
Addressing a programme, organized by Thikurpokhari-Kathmandu Society in PM’s official residence, Baluwatar today, PM Dahal committed to complete the constitution implementation process, remaining task of peace process and to expedite the reconstruction projects adding that they were the workload of the hour.
Prime Minister Dahal added that his efforts would be centered to unite the people with best performance. He said that he failed to work a lot during his first tenure of the premiership but this time he would be centered for best performance.
PM Dahal shared that the amendment of the constitution on the consent of dissenting parties, implementation of the constitution, holding the elections for the three levels and economic prosperity of the nation were the first priority of the government. Prime Minister Dahal asked the public support for the economic prosperity as he was committed to materialize the economic prosperity.
Prime Minister Dahal said that his birth place Thikurpokhari has achieved huge success in education sector and assured to support for infrastructure development and technical institutions at the place, reads the press note issued by PM’s secretariat.
On the occasion, representatives of the society urged PM Dahal to support for the development of the place. RSS
