Four newly-appointed chief judges sworn in

Supreme CourtKathmandu / Jan 25: Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli today administered the oath of office and secrecy to the four newly-appointed chief judges of the High Court amid a program on the premises of the Supreme Court (SC).

The judges, who were sworn in, include Nahakul Subedi, Udaya Prakash Chapagain, Yagya Prasad Basyal and Hari Kumar Pokharel. They were appointed as chief judges of the High Court at the recommendation of the Judicial Council.

Subedi has been posted at High Court in Tulsipur, Dang, while Chapagain at the High Court in Janakpur, Basyal at the High Court in Dipayal and Pokharel in the High Court in Surkhet. RSS
