5,571 new cases on RT-PCR, 4,433 recoveries and five deaths

Kathmandu / Jan 26: As many as 5,571 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the PCR test of 13,549 people across the country in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 2,883 people were found with the same virus through the antigen test of 6,810 people in the same period.

4,433 people have got over the virus infection in the last 24 hours in the country and the recovery rate is 95.2%.

Five persons, however, succumbed to COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, in the last 24 hours in the country.

The number of active cases in the country has reached 90,067. According to the MoHP, 256,416 people were vaccinated against the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours across the country.
