PM Prachanda sees need of ending issues in foreign employment

Kathmandu / Jan 20: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said he would dedicate his third term as the head of the government to deliver something noticeable for the interests of the nation.

Inaugurating the 29th AGM of Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies -NAFEA here today, the Prime Minister pledged to give priority to the welfare of Nepalis at abroad.

Stating that he had taken some decisions for the cause of migrant Nepalis during his second term as the Prime Minister. They were for insurance, labour permit and the increment in compensation amount for migrant Nepalis. “This time, I am dedicated to making efforts to further promote their rights.”

Stating that he assessed his third term as an opportunity to explore ways for the nation’s development, prosperity and good governance, the Prime Minister said, “I am committed to delivering for the cause of nation this time.”

The Prime Minister said the sector of foreign employment is marred by numerous issues, urging foreign employment entrepreneurs to pay special heed towards that end.

“I am updated about news about issues in foreign employment. This sector is sensitive. It must be well managed and descend. I assure you of the government cooperation in your efforts to systematize it,” he added.

The participants of the programmes echoed the need to end misconduct and anomalies in the foreign employment sector. RSS
