Lamichhane to be taken to Pokhara as recording of his statements concludes

Kathmandu / Dec 2: The District Government Attorney Office (DGAO) has concluded recording the statement of Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) who is being prosecuted for allegedly misappropriating the funds of Swarnalaxmi Cooperative Society in Kalimati, Kathmandu. The government attorneys began recording the statement of Lamichhane on November 29.

On November 28, Lamichhane was brought from Pokhara to Kathmandu to investigate his alleged involvement in the Swarnalaxmi Multipurpose Cooperative fraud case.

With the statement-recording concluding today, preparations are underway to send Lamichhane back to Pokhara tomorrow (Tuesday).

Lamichhane was earlier taken from Pokhara to Rupandehi to record his statement regarding the embezzlement of funds of the Supreme Cooperative of Butwal.
