Prime Minister Oli in Beijing; Chinese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Sun welcomed Oli
Beijing (China) / Dec 2: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived here today on a four-day official visit to China. He was received at the Beijing Capital International Airport by Chinese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Sun Weidong.
Prime Minister arrived in Beijing today at the friendly invitation of Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang. During the visit, Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Oli’s Chinese counterpart Qiang is scheduled to welcome PM Oli on December 3. Following that, bilateral talks and a signing ceremony will take place between them. On the same day, PM Oli will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping. He will also meet the chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, Zhao Leji.
On December 4, PM Oli will deliver a keynote speech at Peking University and will address the Nepal-China Business Forum, which is jointly organized by the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry. Prime Minister Oli will return home on December 5 at 2:30 pm.
The PM’s delegation includes 46 members from the government sector and 32 from the private sector, making a total of 78 participants.
