Nepal records 341 new cases, 376 recoveries and three deaths
Kathmandu / Dec 13: Nepal recorded 341 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday along with 376 recoveries and three deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 13,236 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 313 PCR and 28 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.
There are currently 5,983 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 5,508 are in home isolation, 316 in institutional isolation, 126 in ICUs and 33 on ventilators. Similarly, 97 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,557 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 172 cases of the virus on Sunday. Of them, 112 were recorded in Kathmandu, 25 in Bhaktapur, and 35 in Lalitpur districts.
