Issues raised by late Acharya will be probed: Home Minister Lamichhane

Kathmandu / Jan 25: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane visited the family of Prem Prasad Acharya from Ilam, who set himself on fire in front of the Parliament House on Tuesday and passed away at the Cleft and Burn Center in Kirtipur on Wednesday morning. The minister expressed his condolences to the family during the meeting.

Minister Lamichhane insisted that he did not come to participate in the current political and administrative matters and said that he had come with the intention of doing something for the country. He promised to investigate the issues raised by the deceased Acharya.

Nanuka Acharya, the wife of the deceased Prem Acharya, requested the home minister to ensure the future of her children, to ensure their education, to give her a job and to pay the financial loans taken by her husband from the government. She said that the people who try to do something in the country had to die because of the corrupt administration and government.
