1,200 plus units of blood collected on Saturday

Kathmandu / April 25: The country collected 1,267 units of blood on Saturday. In the blood donation campaign organized by Sant Nirankari Mandal, Nepal, the blood was collected from different districts.

Secretary of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Nepal Anil Maharjan said that 118 units of blood were collected in Kathmandu, 127 units in Janakpurdham, 109 units in Surkhet, 82 in Syangja and 85 units of blood in Nepalgunj.

According to Maharjan, 32 units of blood were collected in Dharan, 55 units in Parsa, 23 in Butwal, 35 units in Malangawa of Sarlahi and 40 units of blood in Siraha.

Likewise, 253 units of blood were collected in Kailali district on Saturday. The organization carried out blood donation programmes in different areas in the district. In Tikapur of Kailali, Bhan Singh Bishwakarma donated blood for the 40th time. RSS
