Govt forms committee to study Bajura–Humla border dispute

Kathmandu / May 24: The government has formed a committee to study the technical aspects of the boundary between Bajura and Humla districts and submit a report.

The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Federal Affairs Pratibha Rawal held at Singha Durbar on Friday.

The committee is led by Deputy Director General of the Survey Department Sushil Dangol.

Officials from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, and provincial governments of Karnali and Sudurpaschim will also be part of the panel.

The committee will prepare a detailed report after studying the technical and administrative aspects of the border issue between the two districts.
