Prez Paudel authenticates three budget related bills; Two bills sent for clause-wise discussion

Kathmandu / July 14: President Ramchandra Paudel has certified three bills related to budget.
The President authenticated three bills related to budget for coming fiscal year 2083/84, passed by the Federal Parliament, today in accordance with Article 113 (2) of the Constitution.
The bills certified by President Paudel are ‘Appropriation Bill, 2083’, ‘Bill to Raise National Debt, 2083’ and ‘Finance Bill, 2083’, reads a press release issued today by the Office of the President.
Two bills sent for clause-wise discussion
Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has approved a proposal seeking endorsement to send two different bills at the concerned committees for clause wise discussion.
In today’s HoR meeting, the proposals presented by Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, were passed unopposed.
The meeting passed the proposal presented for sending the bills– ‘Bill to revive previous provision of Nepal Special Service Act, 2042′(2083) – and ‘National Service Crops Bill, 2083’ for clause-wise discussion.
Earlier in the meeting, Minister Gautam, on the behalf of Prime Minister Shah, presented annual report of Judicial Council, annual report of Judicial Service Commission and 66th annual report of Public Service Commission for the fiscal year 2081/82.
Similarly, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle tabled the ‘Bill designed to amend and repeal some Nepal Acts related to Finance, 2083’.
