Gandaki province enacts law on marijuana farming

Phadinra Adhikari / Kaski, Aug. 3: A bill on marijuana farming for medicinal and industrial purposes has been authenticated in the Gandaki Province.
Gandaki province chief Dilli Raj Bhatta authenticated the bill formulated for monitoring and utilization of marijuana farming on Monday.
The Gandaki Provincial assembly had on Friday endorsed the bill intact although it was returned on July 24 by the province chief for consideration.
Pravin Paudel, spokesperson of the office of the province chief, informed that the bill was authenticated as per Article 201 (4) of the constitution.
