Photo exhibition on relief, reconstruction

WFP LogoKathmandu / April 1: A photo exhibition on the earthquake damages and the activities of relief distribution and reconstruction thereafter kicked off at Siddhartha Art Gallery here on Friday.

A total of 48 pictures taken by the staffs of the United Nations and World Food Programme are on display. The exhibition would last for a week.

Inaugurating the exhibition, WFP country director Ms Pippa Bradford said the WFP was committed to relief distribution and reconstruction activities following the earthquake.

She stressed the need for the cooperation between the government and the private sector to continue the reconstruction activities in the days ahead. RSS
