Home Ministry concerned over announcement of vehicular strike

Kathmandu / May 24: The Home Ministry has said it serious attention been drawn towards the announcement of a nationwide vehicular strike for May 26. The announcement was made by the transport entrepreneurs and the workers.

Releasing a press statement Tuesday, the Home Ministry said it was learnt that the announcement was made against the implementation of the amendment of the Transportation Management Act. But, it is every citizen’s responsibility and duty to abide by the laws passed by the Legislature-Parliament. “Any reservation or disagreement on any issue can be done in a legal manner, so it is mandatory for all to act by not going beyond constitution and legal provision while making protest,” underscored the Ministry.

While making protest, others’ human rights must not be breached, said the Home Ministry, making aware that any person and group involved in the activity against laws deserve action. RSS
