Satirists suggest leaders not to make politics a profession

GaijatraKathmandu / Aug 19: The humorists and satirists have suggested the political leaders not to make politics a profession to assemble property.

Speaking at a programme organized in the capital city on the occasion of the Gai Jatra on Friday, they said the politics must not be made a profession to earn money.

The humour artists acted against the political malaises and anomalies at the programme.

Comedian Manoj Gajurel suggested Chief of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Lokman Singh Karki, to catch the big fish.

Other humorists as Sailendra Simkhada, Deepak Raj Giri and Jitu Nepal expressed worry over eroding social and cultural ties among the people from diverse communities across the country. They argued that party interests have undervalued the public interest. RSS
