Agreement signed with 411,201 quake affected families for first tranche of relief amount
Kathmandu / Sept 4: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has so far reached the agreement with 411,201 earthquake affected households for the release of the first tranche of relief amount.
As per the information shared by the NRA, the quake affected families who reached the agreement for the relief include 49,758 from Gorkha district; 66,000 from Sindhuplachok; 42,638 from Dolakha; 40,778 from Ramechhap; 51,900 from Dhading; 50,175 from Kavrepalanchok, 51,204 from Nuwakot; 17,915 from Okhaldhunga; 20,285 from Sindhuli; 8,351 from Rasuwa, and 12,193 from Makawanpur.
‘Left out quake survivors will be incorporated’
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he has already directed the concerned authorities to begin the process of collecting the names of the quake survivors who have been left out.
Accepting a memorandum from an all-party delegation of members of parliament from Sindhupalchowk district today, Prime Minister Dahal said the real victims of the earthquake would be added to the current list of survivors, according to the PM’s Secretariat.
The Prime Minister also shared that preparation was being made to add Rs. 100,000 to make it a grant of Rs. 300,000 to the quake survivors, and as well as Rs. 200,000 of concessional loan. He said that he was taking initiative to repair the Araniko highway and open the Tatopani transit point.
The delegation comprised MPs Amrit Kumar Bohara, Agni Prasad Sapkota, Mohan Bahadur Basnet, Sher Bahadur Tamang, Ramesh Lama among others. RSS
