PM Dahal directs officials to work in integrated and coordinated way

PrachandaKathmandu / Oct 24: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed the public servants to work in an integrated and coordinated manner in administration and developmental works.

While directing the officials of different Ministries including the Ministries of Home Affairs, Federal Affairs and Local Development, Finance, Energy, Physical Planning and Transport at the Office of the PM and Council of Ministers today, PM Dahal urged them to give effective results maintaining the coordination among the concerned bodies.

According to Prime Minister’s Private Secretariat, PM Dahal had said that due to lack of coordination, different developmental projects were not giving good results.

He further shared that ‘illegal authority’ was imposing pressure upon the legal authority, saying as if ‘the sword of Damocles was hanging upon the head of innocent people and officials’. He further stressed on strengthening the state mechanism by removing all kinds of unnecessary hurdles and obstacles.

On the occasion, PM Dahal directed the concerned officials to manage the traffic in Kathmandu Valley and speed up developmental projects as well.

Minister for Physical Planning and Transport Ramesh Lekhak and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development Hitraj Pandey had briefed the meeting about the progress report of their respective Ministries. RSS
