Agreement on supply of petroleum products renewed for five year
Kathmandu / March 27: The agreement between Nepal and India for the supply of petroleum products to Nepal has been renewed for five years.
The agreement was renewed in New Delhi on Monday in the presence of Minister for Supplies, Deepak Bohara, and Indian Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan, according to Surya Prasad Shrestha, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Supplies.
He further said with the renewal of the agreement, India would now provide the petroleum as much as Nepal demands.
Nepal has been importing the petroleum products costing more than Rs 1 billion every year. RSS
