Maoist Centre and Nepali Congress finalise NA candidates; NA poll result will be made public as soon as possible, says CEC Yadav
Kathmandu / Jan 23: The CPN Maoist Centre and the Nepali Congress today have finalised the names of candidates for the National Assembly election.
As many as 13 seats have been finalised by CPN MC for the NA election while remaining one seat from province-2 is yet to be decided upon. The CPN MC candidates are as follows:

NA poll result will be made public as soon as possible, says CEC Yadav
Meanwhile, Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhee Prasad Yadav has said that result of National Assembly election would be made public as soon as possible.
Addressing an election related training organised for the representatives of political parties participating in the National Assembly poll here on Tuesday, CEC Yadav urged all political parties to make the NA election a success.
He also requested the political parties to follow the election code of conduct, urging all to help the EC to hold the election in a free and fearless manner. During the training, the EC would impart training to representatives of the political parties on various election related issues including model of ballot paper, voting process and vote counting.
Representatives from CPN-UML, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Rastriya Janata Party Nepal and Nepali Congress, other parties are participating in the training.
According to EC, election code of conduct would be implemented from January 26 for NA election. A total of 2,056 voters including 1,506 chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of the rural municipalities and mayors and deputy mayors and 550 province assembly members of seven provinces would exercise their voting rights during NA election.The NA election is taking place on February 7.
