BIMSTEC a bridge to link regional organizations, says PM Oli

Kathmandu / Sept 4: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that BIMSTEC is a bridge to link the regional organizations like South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Addressing the National Assembly meeting today, the Prime Minister said that intensive discussions were held with the head of states and governments of the BIMSTEC Member States during their participation in the Fourth BIMSTEC Summit.

According to the PM, the Fourth BIMSTEC Summit concluded in Nepal with far-sighted decisions, i.e. 18-point Kathmandu Declarations.

Prime Minister Oli said that all Nepalis have got the credit for successfully holding the BIMSTEC summit by accommodating all sides diplomatically.

He also thanked and praised all sides concerned for their contribution to make the BIMSTEC Summit a success. RSS
