PABSON to organize Nat’l School Expo, Educational Conference
Kathmandu / Jan 21: Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization (PABSON) is organizing two separate educational programs in January and March.
PABSON is hosting a national educational conference on ‘School Education’ on January 23 and 24 in Kathmandu. The Career Training Foundation Nepal will coordinate for the event, which is expected to bridge education with the skills and technology as per the need of time. According to President of PABSON Tikaram Puri, they are marching forward intending to bring reforms to the educational system of Nepal by introducing timely methods, techniques and approaches.
Experts from home and abroad will make various presentations during the conference. More than 300 participants including the representatives from government bodies, professors from various universities, private school owners, principals and teachers, community school principals and teachers, experts working for policy development will give their presentations, according to PABSON.
The conference will be inaugurated by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwor Pokharel. Likewise, Minister for Education Giriraj Mani Pokharel is also scheduled to address the program. Similarly, Swami Anand Arun will give lecture on spiritualistic values, Prof Dr Bal Chandra Luitel will talk about system education and Dr Sushil Kandel will have a presentation on psychology in schools.
Similarly, PABSON is also preparing to host another program entitled National School Expo at Brikuti Mandap in Kathmandu from March 4 to 7.
According to PABSON Vice President Ishwar Bahadur Gurung, the program aims at strengthening the organizational structure and providing comprehensive information to students and parents about Nepal’s education and schools affiliated to the organization. “The expo will provide them with an opportunity to pick the best school.”
