Gangadhar Gautam is elected as the president of NRN-Belgium
Kathmandu / September 20: Gangadhar Gautam is elected as the president of NRN-Belgium, in the election held recently he got 836 number of votes whereas his rival Saru Chapagain has to satisfy only with 681. Padam Gurung and Krishna Paudel are elected as the vice-president where as Yashoda Subedi is elected as vice-president under female category.
Similarly, Lok Dahal is elected as the general secretary where as Gobinda Singh Adhikari and Rakesh Karmacharya are selected as secretary. Ang Maya Lama and Dharma Raj Pathak are elected as treasurer and vice-treasurer respectively. Nirmala Bajgain got victory for female coordinator.
The other elected members of the team comprise Raju KC, Bhim Subedi, Purna Timilsina, Kiran Sharma, Sagar Subba, Hom Gurung, Ahamad Din Miya, Reyna Basnet, Kalpana Magar and Sabitri Giri.
Chij Kumar Shrestha and Netra Magar are elected as the NRN-ICC member representing Belgium.
From the Progressive panel only one member Muna Tamrakar got victory where as all the other elected member belongs to Gautam panel. The collaboration of Maoist affiliated “Nepali Jana Pragatishil Manch”, Congress affiliated “Janaasamparka Samiti” and Sangiye samajbadi party together have formed democratic inclusive panel, where as CPN(UML) is only included in progressive panel.
Gautam has led the democratic inclusion panel and Chapagain has led the progressive panel.
