Citizen’s help desk in Gaddachauki point to support Nepali migrants

gaddachaukiKanchanpur / October 16: The District Police Office, Kanchanpur, has established a citizen’s help desk ahead of festive season in Gaddachauki point of Kanchanpur.

It is said that the help desk was established to support the Nepalis returning from India for Dashain celebration.

Police Inspector Babukaji Giri said that the police personnel deployed in the help desk would aware the passengers in their journeys, reduce the cases of robberies, and control the exorbitant fares claimed by the rickshaw pullers and other vehicles.

A six-member team of the police personnel under the command of Police Inspector has been deployed for the job.

Likewise, the traffic police has increased its activities at the Mahendranagar Bus Park to ensure safe journey of the passengers. Traffic Police Inspector Ramdutta Badu said that vehicles carrying more passengers than their capacity are discouraged as part of their surveillance. RSS
