Nepal registers second win in ICC U-19 world cup cricket selection tournament

Nepali Cricket teamKathmandu / October 16: Nepali youth team has registered its second win in the match today under the ICC U-19 world cup selection tournament.

Nepal emerged winner trailing Uganda by 171 runs in the match played at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. This is Nepal’s second consecutive win in the tournament.

Earlier, Nepal made scintillating victory defeating Papua New Guinea by nine wickets in the match played on Thursday.

Put into bat first after winning toss, Nepal amassed 242 runs in the limited 50 overs at the loss of seven wickets. In response, Papua New Guinea made 71 runs on 36.2 overs at the loss of all wickets.

Nepali presented a challenging target with batsman Raju Rijal making 101 runs. RSS
