Solar energy illuminates village

solar panelDhangadhi / November 5: The solar power now has illuminated Ratanpur, Ghuinyaphat village located in the southern part of Kailali district.

It was possible with the installation of solar power in homes as an alternative of electricity.

“The solar power installed at homes has ended the compulsion of living in dark”, said Fulraj Chaudhary, a local.

The locals who were compelled to light kerosene-enabled lamp in absence of electricity installed solar power panel with fuel price going up.

Solar power panels have been set up at almost all 375 households of Ghuinyaphat, said Chandra Chaudhary, a local.

The solar power with 20-30 watt has been enough to light 3-4 bulbs at home, the villagers added. RSS
