Chairman Dahal effortful to make tomorrow’s talks with protesting parties meaningful

PrachandaKathmandu / November 17: The High Level Political Mechanism formed to hold talks with the political parties agitating in the Tarai/Madesh has planned to make the tomorrow’s talks decisive.

Mechanism coordinator and UCPN (Maoist) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday held informal consultations with three major political parties and the agitating parties.

During the talks with the protesting parties, coordinator Dahal was given a message that the former were ready for striking an agreement on the disputed issues if the government came up with a concrete proposal on the issues of delineation of federal provinces, determination of electoral constituencies and proportional and inclusive representation, according to Dahal’s personal secretary and party central member Chudamani Khadka.

Dahal was learnt to have requested the ruling and opposition parties informally to sit for talks with the agitating parties with confidence of finding a solution to the problem.

Informal talks with the agitating parties went positive and all sides were univocal on sorting out problems immediately, added Khadka, quoting coordinator Dahal. RSS
