Government striving to overcome fuel crisis: DPM Rawal

Bhim RawalDhangadhi / November 20: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Bhim Bahadur Rawal has said the government was working to address the problem of acute fuel shortage resulted from India’s unofficial blockade on the country.

In his address to a programme in the capital city Friday, DPM Rawal said Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was busy in high-level talks and discussions to find an alternative to fuel crisis in the country.

The government is preparing to sign a new trade deal with China to cope with the problems triggered by the severe fuel crisis, and such agreement was not against any country but for the interest of the home. “Blockage is an inhumane act,’ he said adding the government was committed to ending this adversity soon.

Highlighting features of the new constitution, the UML Vice Chair argued that Nepal’s constitution drafted through democratic process was one of the best of the world. Disputes in the demarcation of federal provinces and in their number would be settled gradually as per the people’s mandate. RSS
