APF bags beach volleyball tournament in both categories

Itahari / November 20: The Armed Police Force (AFP) Club on Friday won the three-day beach volleyball tournament in men and women’s category organized by Eastern Volleyball Association.
In men’s final, APF Club defeated Nepal Army in straight sets 21-10 and 21-17. The winning team bagged Rs 20,000 while the first runner up took home Rs 15,000. Both the teams were also rewarded shields.
In the women’s category Armed Police Force team of Saraswoti Chaudhary and Nebika Chaudhary defeated Nepal Police team constituting of athletes Bina Budhathoki and Reshma Bhandari to win the tournament.
The winning team and the first runner up took home Rs 20,000 and Rs 15,000 and shields. RSS
