Persons with mental disabilities receive assistance

Morang / December 3: Some physical and financial assistance have been provided to five persons with mental disability of a single family in Itahari of Morang on Wednesday.
Financial aid along with blankets were handed over to the family members Tulsiram Dhungana at Itahari-7 coinciding the 24th International Day of People with Disabilities.
It may be noted that a house for people with disabilities is under construction in Itahari at the cost of Rs 800,000 with the assistance of the donors.
Local journalist Tejan Khadka shared that assistance worth Rs 100,000 was so far provided to the Dhungana family this year. Three daughters and two sons of Dhungana couple have been with mental retardation by birth, it is learnt. RSS
