Finally private company brings fuel; KL Dugar group held for foul play

PetrolimexKathmandu / December 3: Nepal Oil Corporation, for the first time, has brought some 40,000 litres of air fuel through private sector.

A private company come up with international competition, Petrolimax Nepal, brought the aviation fuel by Jordan Air from Lucknow, India, on Thursday.

Following the India’s undeclared blockade, the NOC had opened an international bid on importing the aviation fuel

In another incident, Police have sealed a depot of KL Dugad at Jadibuti, Koteshwor, on charge of hoarding and selling cooking oil on exorbitant price.

Spokesperson at Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, Bishworaj Pokhrel, said the depot was sealed based on the information that it was selling ‘Dhara’ cooking oil at Rs 300 per litre while its actual price is Rs 120 per litre. There were some five trucks of the cartons of cooking oil in the depot.

The police also arrested depot manager Amaj Zain and coordinator Pramod Adhikari. RSS
