AFP wins national women’s volleyball tournament

APFKathmandu / December 4: The Armed Police Force (APF) club has defeated New Diamond Academy in three straight sets to win the national women’s volleyball championship here on Friday.

AFP won the title including a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 with a 25-16, 25-11 and 25-15 scored line against New Diamond. A total of six teams had contested in the tournament that took place at the Volleyball training centre in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.

AFP’s Saraswati Chaudhary was adjudged the best player of the tournament organized by the Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial Academy. RSS
