Docskool invites South Asian filmmakers to Clinik.Kathmandu

Kathmandu / December 4: Brace yourselves, aspiring filmmakers! Get your creative hat on and prepare your best writing samples to send to Docskool, an arts organization working to promote better cinema in South Asia. The Writing Residency and Regional Workshop for South Asian filmmakers, part of Docskool’s Clink.Kathmandu program, are targeted at filmmakers who are working on feature length films.

The month-long writing workshop will be held in Kathmandu and Udaypur. Filmmakers from nine countries like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan are invited to apply for this competitive workshop. Though the application date is open till April 2016, the organizers advise interested filmmakers to hurry up with the submission as only the six best applicants will be selected for the workshop. Applicants should send a minimum of six writing samples. (Source: myrepublica)
