Medicine supply thru fast track: Health Minister Chaudhari

medicinesChitwan / December 6: Minister for Health and Population Ram Janam Chaudhari has said government was planning to adopt fast track to normalize the supply of medicines.

Inaugurating the diagnosis service at Rantanagar Hospital located at Ratnanagar on Sunday, Minister Chaudhari said Nepal however had the stock of medicines that suffice for 40 days. To prevent crisis, government was mulling the short route for medical supply.

The present political crisis must be resolved politically, he stressed, adding that efforts for talks with the agitating parties were underway.

Nepal has been reeling under scarcity of commodities including life saving medicines after India imposed blockade following the promulgation of new constitution in Nepal. Some madhes based parties have been supporting India to impose the blockade. RSS
