Sanjaya Pandit heading to scale Kilimanjaro Mountain; PM Oli hands over national flag

SanjayaKathmandu / December 12: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today bade farewell to ultra runner Sanjay Pandit, who is going to climb Kilimanjaro Mountain in Africa, by handing him the national flag of the country.

At a programme organised at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar, Prime Minister Oli said that support would be provided on the behalf of him as well as from the government to fulfill the dream of Pandit of climbing all highest mountain of the world. “Pandit has been making the country proud in the international arena by climbing mountains. I wish for his further success.”

The final destination of Pandit, who was in preparation to climb all highest mountains of the seven continents, is Vinson Massif of Antarctica. He has already climbed Mt. Everest, Manaslu, Fuji of Japan as well as highest peaks of Europe, USA and Australia, among others.

Pandit is leaving here on Sunday for Tanzania to climb Mt Kalimanjaro. RSS
