Six schools damaged by quake reconstructed

Sindhupalchowk / December 16: The reconstruction of six schools damaged by the April 25 earthquake in Sindhupalchowk district has been completed.

The Ananda higher secondary school in Jalbire, Panchakanya primary school in Hagam and Dakshinkali secondary school in Batase have been reconstructed by the Sagarmatha Health Foundation.

Likewise, with support from senior journalist Harihar Birahi and at the initiative of Sunkoshi-Indrawati Society Chair Bhupendra Bahadur Thapa, the Janajyoti lower secondary school, Pokhare primary school and Janajyoti primary school in Sanga chowk have been renovated.

Reconstruction of the Mahakali primary school in Barhabise, Saraswati primary school in Ghumthang and Jugal lower secondary school in Hagam will shortly begin, according to the Society Chair Thapa. RSS
