NHRC Chief Sharma meets Gangamaya at Bir Hospital

NHRCKathmandu / December 16: Chairperson of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Anup Raj Sharma has urged the government to bring the murderers of Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Phujel, Gorkha, under justice.

Visiting the mother of Krishna Prasad at Bir Hospital on Wednesday, NHRC Chairman Sharma asked the government to immediately take action against the perpetrators. Krishna Prasad’s mother, Gangamaya, is staging a hunger strike in the same hospital for long.

He also pledged to support on behalf of the NHRC to book the culprits by remaining inthe jurisdiction.

During the meeting, Gangamaya reiterated not to perform the last rites of her husband late Nanda Prasad Adhikari until the guilty were booked.

Husband Nanda Prasad had breathed his last during the fast-unto-death he waged demanding action against those involved in the killing of son Krishna Prasad. RSS
