Rs 15 million collected in Mahayagya

Parbat / December 21: A total of Rs 15 million has been collected at a Dhandhanyanchal Mahayagi organised at Majhphant Mallaj of northern belt of Parbat district.
The main organising committee of the religious function said that Rs 2.3 million was collected on Sunday, the last day of the event.
Vice-chairman of the main organising committee Guman Singh Karki said that Shiva Kumar Shrestha donated Rs 2 million plus while Bhim Bahadur GC of Majhphant-8 provided Rs 777,777 in cash.
The Mahayagya was organised aiming at renovating the historical Bhagawati Temple and make publicity of the religious and tourist sites of the region. Pandit Kamalnayan Gautam had recited the Bhagawat stories. RSS
