Quake-hit NA personnel get Rs 40 million in relief

Nepalese ArmyDamauli / December 22: The Ramban Company of Nepalese Army (NA) based in Byas Municipality-8, Tanahun, has distributed Rs 39.6 million plus financial assistance to the quake-affected families of the retired and serving NA personnel.

The amount was given to a total of 1,336 retired and serving NA personnel whose houses were damaged in the April 25 earthquake and the subsequent aftershocks.

Chief of the Ramban Company, Durga Bahadur Thapa, said that the amount received from the Welfare Directorate of the NA Headquarters was distributed to the quake-affected NA personnel.

It is said that Rs 50,000 was given to those whose houses were completely damaged while Rs 25,000 each for those suffering partial damages of their houses. RSS
