Migratory birds arrive in Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve

bird-watchingKanchanpur / January 10: With the dip in temperature in the North Pole, the Siberian birds have spotted in the wetlands of the Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve in the recent days.

The migratory birds of different species have started to arrive in the area to escape the chilling cold in Siberia and other parts of the North Pole.

Chief Conservation Officer of the Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve, Bed Kumar Dhakal, said that activities of the Siberian birds have increased in Ranital, Salgaudhital, Kalichichtal and Raratal areas.

Every year, the birds from Siberia and other belt of the North Pole arrive here with the unset of the winter and again head to their original habitats with the end of the cold season. RSS
