Anti-drug campaign in Jajarkot

Jajarkot / January 30: The Jajarkot District Police Office has launched a month-long campaign against transportation and smuggling of the narcotic drugs.
Chief of the district police, Dan Bahadur Malla, said that the campaign was started at once from the district police office and other offices under its command in different parts of the district.
As per the campaign, public awareness raising programmes would be conducted against the sales and use of the narcotic drugs.
Likewise, police checkups have been beefed up in the possible points of drug smuggling in the district.
Earlier, the mothers group and police had joined hands together to reduce the production of the home-grown booze in Jajarkot. RSS
