Rs 1.9 million received from UK for Mundhumshala

Kirant shelterDamak / February 1: The Mundhumshala of the third generation of Phalgunanda based at Hattileda of Chulachuli-2 in Ilam district has received Rs 1.9 million in financial assistance from the UK for the construction of a religious shelter.

A two-storied building would be built from the money collected from the UK-based Kirat Satyahang Mahaguru Phalgunanda Samaj.

The amount was handed over to the shelter construction committee by organising an event.

Chairman of the management committee, Rajendra Kerung, said that supports have been received from different donors and government agencies for the completion of the building that was started a decade ago. RSS
