Bhutanese Home Minister calls on President Bhandari

Bhutanese Home MinisterKathmandu / February 10: Bhutanese Minister for Home and Cultural Affairs Lyonpo Dawa Gyaltshen paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the latter’s official residence Shital Niwas on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by Bhutanese ambassador to Nepal, V Namgyel, as well as the high-ranking officials of the Bhutanese Embassy based in New Delhi, India, according to Dhrubaraj Sharma, Assistant Spokesperson of the Office of the President.

Bhutanese Minister Gyaltshen arrived Kathmandu on Wednesday to offer tributes to the late Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.

NC President Koirala, 77, died at his private residence at Maharajgunj, Kathmandu on Tuesday. RSS
