Jailbird provides money to install solar panel

Solar lightGorkha / February 12: A jailbird in Gorkha Prison House has doled out money to install solar panel in the prison house as the longstanding power loadshedding continued to affect the daily routines in the prison.

Jagannath Adhikari of Khoplang village in the district provided Rs 9,600 to install the solar panel of 20 kilowatt capacity. It is said that jailbird Adhikari made the earning after selling the bamboo stools and other products that he prepared in the prison house.

With the installation of the solar panel, the men and women jailbirds have no difficulties to read, prepare meals and even to continue their handworks during the hour of power cut off.
